Overview of the project
The CEME campus is a purpose built development on a 19 acre site in Rainham, East London. A haven for training and education to manufacturing, engineering and technology businesses, the campus is a centre for innovation, ideas and learning.
Initially the team at CEME contacted Building Transformation to look at some wind damage to three of their buildings. We conducted a detailed survey and provided a report outlining our advice and next steps for the issues discovered. Following this initial survey we are now working with CEME on a long term plan to support their ongoing facade refurbishments as part of a cost-effective, proactive strategy?
Our role is to ensure we support our clients with the information, awareness, strategies and specialist solutions they need to future-proof the condition and performance of the building façade. Over time, the building fabric weakens, and action is needed to breathe new life and energy into the building skin. Today it’s clear that the building façades on the CEME campus requires a 21st-century approach, to restore, protect and maintain for the future.
